Best Chocolate Cake Recipe

The best chocolate cake I have ever had !

For the Cake:

Ingredients:
225g plain flour
350g caster sugar
85g cocoa powder
1.5 tsp baking powder
1.5 tsp baking soda
2 eggs
250ml milk
125ml vegetable oil
2 tsp vanilla extract
250ml boiling water

Method:
Place cake ingredients, except the boiling water, into a large mixing bowl and mix until it becomes smooth and well combined.
Now, add the boiling water to the mixture, a little at a time, and keep mixing until it becomes smooth again. (The cake mixture will now be very liquid in texture.)
Put the mixture in baking utensil and bake in the oven for 25-35 minutes. You can check for the right time as when a skewer inserted into center of the cake, it comes out clean.
Now, remove the cake from the braking utensil and let it cool fully cool down before doing the frosting.

For the Frosting:

Ingredients:
25g cocoa powder
300g icing sugar
50g butter
50ml cream

Method:
Mix cocoa powder and icing sugar in a bowl and in a separate bowl melt the butter for a few seconds. Now, mix the melted butter and cream into the sugar and cocoa, and stir until smooth and silky.

For the Decoration:
Decorate the cake with the frosting using a palette knife and if you wish, use some edible pearls and cream flowers to give it a fantastic look ! And enjoy !
